Lanny has worked with us on multiple projects throughout the years and has always done a world-class job. He is a thorough and highly creative, and has a keen vision for how to build beautiful and inviting spaces (that are also highly functional!).

Lanny was our architect on an extensive gut renovation for our five-bedroom Central Park West apartment in New York City. The project was highly involved and complex (including navigating the renovation rules for a 100-year-old landmarked building). He handled it all with aplomb from start to finish -- and helped create a wonderful finished project that we expect our family will call home for decades. We have and will continue to work with Lanny again in the future. We can't recommend him highly enough!

Lanny listened quietly and carefully to all of our ideas and priorities. He always got to the crux of what we were hoping to achieve but in a way that was far better and more effective than what we could imagine on our own. Lanny was the architect we selected for our gut renovation of a 2 BR, 1.5 BR co-op apartment on the UWS. He was wonderful to work with from start to finish of our project. He had some great recommendations on how to reconfigure the layout of our Living Room / eating area, which allowed us to maximize the entire space. He also helped us properly navigate the various NYC DOB codes which allowed us to build an amazing kitchen. We would recommend Lanny to anyone in need of an architect for their home improvement project!

We're on our second project with Lanny, this time an 1800's townhouse in the UES.  The process has been smooth and professional including plan development, contractor bidding, city submittal and (so far) actual construction.  We're in the middle of the job right now.  We're happy to be working with Lanny again!

Lanny helped me design and build the ultimate multi-functional offfice/gym/man-cave in our carriage house.

He listened intently to everything I initially had in mind. He then helped to refine the idea and produce beautiful plans. He was very responsive to emails and calls throughout the process - and he never gave me a hard time when I wanted to make some changes to the plans.

He did a lot of research in order to identify the right materials for each component of the project.

My husband and I used Lanny Lerner as the architect for an extensive project in our NYC apartment that involved redesigning and enlarging our master bathroom, changing  the closet and wall space in three rooms, and creating a new lighting system in our living room and dining room. 

Living through a renovation that involved almost every room in our apartment was not easy, but Lanny was extremely helpful and always available during the entire process, working closely with our contractor and helping us with any issues that arose.

We had decided to move south and bought property and then decided to to build. There were two plans and of course trouble making up our minds, which one.  Lanny was sent the floor plans, he gave us his idea which coincided with my wife's favorite plan.  But there was a small problem, both plans had the bathroom  through the closet.  He reworked the plan and created a hallway to the closet seperate from the bathroom.  He sent the plans to the builder and the builder loved it and so a new plan was born.  So, thank you Lanny for keeping our clothing separate from the bathroom .  He was a pleasure to work with..

Lanny has done multiple jobs for us over the past 6 years on our home in Bergen County, NJ. Starting with a complete remodel of the interior of our home – including redesign of bedrooms for my daughters as well as new bedroom and bathrooms where none existed. As new homeowners, Lanny brought numerous ideas we would not have thought of to make our home more functional. He created all of the necessary architectural plans and easily interacted with our contractors and the town to make sure everything went smoothly. Most recently we undertook a remodel of the outside of our home – including a new portico and entryway with similar stellar results
